  • Alan Dumas Founder and President

    In his role as president of Accunet Solutions, Alan works with other members of the management team to steer the Company's strategic direction and to help manage its overall operations. To his position, Alan brings more than 20 years of experience in IT and systems integration sales and operations. While he oversees all aspects of the Company’s operations, Alan focuses most of his efforts on customers through his leadership of the sales, business development and operations management functions.

    Prior to starting Accunet Solutions in 1997, Alan was VP of Sales for Vertex, Inc., a global provider of systems integration services. In that position, he had overall responsibility for managing sales and operations for all of North America and Europe. Earlier in his career, Alan was an Account Manager with Anixter, a global distributor of voice and data products before being recruited by Vertex to open an office in New Jersey. Alan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Furman University.

  • David Bates Director of Finance and Operations

    David Bates has been with Accunet Solutions from the beginning. Since joining the Company in its earliest stage in 1997, and during the past 11 years, he has successfully handled a wide range of responsibilities. A versatile executive, David at various times in his Accunet tenure has held management responsibility for functions ranging from Finance to Inside Sales. Today, David has overall management responsibility for Accunet Solutions Finance and Operations group. He works closely with Alan Dumas on strategic planning and on ensuring that the Company tracks effectively toward its efficiency, productivity and profitability goals.

    David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Massachusetts with additional studies in finance, management, accounting, and marketing.

  • Ed EldridgeDirector of Data Center & Storage Solutions

    Ed Eldridge is Accunet Solutions' resident expert on next-generation enterprise data centers and storage solutions. As Director of this key practice area for Accunet, he orchestrates the creation and deployment of all storage and data center projects. During his more than five years with the Company, Ed’s experience and creativity has made the difference in hundreds of successful projects for dozens of Accunet customers.

    Prior to joining Accunet, Ed spent two years with Counterpane Internet Security managing business development within Fortune 500 companies in the Boston and New York markets. Prior to that, Ed was with Marconi Communications as a systems engineer supporting the Company’s largest New England customers. In that role, Ed also developed a technical training methodology used throughout the North American channel. Earlier in his 16-year career Ed held technical positions with Allied Telesis and Cameo Communications. Ed holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Brown University, and a JD from Concord Law School.

  • Jason Plourde Director of Network and Security Engineering

    As Director of the Network and Security Engineering teams at Accunet, Jason provides both strategic direction and hands-on oversight for this key practice area. Jason works with customers to craft critical network infrastructure and security project plans, and manages their successful implementation and roll-out.

    Jason brings to his position more than 14 years of experience in providing network and security solutions to large organizations. He joined Accunet Solutions in 2001 from International Network Services, where he was a Senior Network and Security Consultant. In that role, Jason gained valuable experience as a key member of a team that designed and delivered major projects for several Fortune 100 companies. Prior to INS, Jason served in the United States Marine Corps as a Network Engineer responsible for designing and deploying field command operations center networks as well as maintaining and optimizing garrison networks.
